Dear Festival Participants,

You may have heard that Sirius Radio and XM Radio recently merged. This new partnership opens the door to many more radio channels. As I was doing some research on this merger, I discovered that ESPN (a popular television network) is launching a new sports radio channel targeted at kids. Their inaugural broadcast will air during the 2008 Olympic Games. The new channel is called TSPN (Teen Sports Programming Network). I also learned that Howard Soswell will be the top broadcaster at TSPN so I contacted him to pitch an idea. This is where you come in.

I figured he needed some content for the new radio channel, so I told Howard of your amazing talent for research and writing and that you would make fantastic sports reporters for TSPN. And guess what? He bought it. Howard wants YOU to create some radio essays for TSPN! Are you ready? Let the games begin!
