Welcome back to another exciting year at Manuel Hernandez.  I hope you each had an enjoyable summer.   On the first day of school all students are given a Student/Parent Handbook that was created to provide you with some general information about Manuel Hernandez Elementary School.   It includes bell schedules, staff list, school calendar, and other general information about procedures, rules, dress code, etc.    As you read through this handbook with your child, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need clarification on any information provided. We expect that the students of Manuel Hernandez will come to school to achieve to the best of their ability, exhibit excellent scholarly behavior and develop the foundational skills necessary for higher personal achievement.  In order for our expectations to be met, we must work together.  Educating our children requires a focused approach and attention to individual student needs.  With a commitment from each of us to ensure effective communication, teamwork, consistency, and high expectations from staff, students, and parents, we can insure that all students will be successful in school.  Thank you in advance for your commitment to working together for the success of all children.
