Orchard Supply Hardware Partnership

Fifth graders took over the planting beds at Royal Oaks.  OSH supplied flowers and humus for their project.  Students weed, water, and fuss over the project daily. Thank you, Mr. Chris at Orchard Supply Hardware!

Do you have an idea for community service?  How can students help?  What vision do you have for yourself and / or your class to make Royal Oaks a better place?

Each month we will celebrate the student or students that are selected from our class for “Student of the Month”.  Although the school year has just started, we need to recognize that Brandon, Callen and Sarah have contributed to our school by keeping a close eye on our planting beds.  By watering,  weeding, and caring for the flowers planted there, these students make our school site a better place to learn.

 Additionally, several students have volunteered to participate in raising and lowering the school flags daily.  Thanks to Brennen who made sure his Flag Crew completed the daily task.

We will be writing about the different sporting events the touch the lives of our students.
