It’s a brand new school year, and I am eager to begin teaching!

Tuesday, August 18th, 6:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria - FIRST P.T.A. Meeting ( Come and get involved!)
Thursday, August 27th, 6:00 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. - BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT ( There will be 3, 25 minute sessions.)
This webpage is all about connecting your home to Manuel F. Hernandez school. Each of the icons/tabs on this page has links which will allow you to interact with the websites for the publishers of the textbooks for ALL subject areas and key standards. You have the opportunity to “look ahead” to help your child develop helpful background knowledge in all core subject areas.
TIP: Substitute 15 minutes of your child’s television time with the equal amount of time jointly exploring these websites ( daily, weekly).
It is my goal to help your child excel! Please call the school or email me with any questions or comments (NOTE: Your child will bring home a daily homework log. There is an area for comments. I would love to hear from you. )
