What is a Doc Camera?
A Doc Camera, like the ELMO, is a fantastic classroom tool for the 21st century teacher. These imaging devices will soon replace the overhead projectors as we discover the significant impact they can have on classroom instruction. Doc Cameras can be used in conjunction with many multimedia devices like computers, SMART boards, TVs, and projectors. We are still learning how they can be integrated in the classroom. Currently our technology team is recommending the ELMO TT-02s, although there are many other doc cameras available. Ask a techcoach.
